Team Elijah

Why we are walking for Down syndrome:

We're so very thankful for RIWR. Elijah was recently awarded a Bursary for weekly speech therapy for an entire year- something we would never have been able to afford otherwise! We were also reimbursed 100% for Elijah's high chair a few years ago that we still use so that he can eat meals/work on his fine motor skills with proper positioning.

We participated in the RIWR walk last year and want to continue to give back by raising money again this year! The cost of therapies/supplies for a child with DS is quite significant and often not covered by the government/extended health benefits.
